What to Expect When you Visit FBF

Thanks for visiting our website! We hope that you will take the time to look around and consider visiting us in person. To make things a little easier for you, below, we’ve given you some information about what you can expect when you visit our church home. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns – we would love to hear from you!

Parking and a Warm Welcome

When you visit our building, there are places to park in the front south parking lot, to the west side of the building and in the back north of the building. There is also a handicap accessible ramp that leads to the main sanctuary, and meets ADA standards. We also try our best to give you a warm welcome when you visit our church. You may have someone greet you in the parking lot, or in the sanctuary – but we will do our very best to say hi to you when you come!

Adult Sunday School

During our Sunday School hour, 9:30 am – 10:15 am each Sunday morning, we offer multiple classes for every age group to attend. The Adult Sunday school class meets in the church basement which is accessible from our main lobby. When you first enter the Lobby, head west, down the stairs and through the kitchen where you will find our main basement meeting area. There are tables and chairs set up for adult Sunday School, and often breakfast goodies are served along with fresh coffee and tea. There are also specialty classes offered at different times for adults which are generally held in our East Sunday School class wing.

Youth and Children’s Sunday School

We have three different classes for children and youth to attend during our Sunday School hour. Our Preschool class meets in the nursery at the end of the hall in the East wing. The Kindergarten-3rd grade class and 4th grade – 12th grade class meet in class rooms along the hallway of the East wing. When you come into the Lobby, turn eastward and you will see the East Sunday school wing with labels on each door. Our bathrooms are also located in this hallway.

Childcare

Our nursery (pictured above) is open to children ages 0-3 years old during Sunday School and our main service at 10:30 am. We do ask that parents or guardians be in attendance at classes and services when bringing their children to the nursery. During our main service, we do not offer a children’s class, but rather encourage parents to bring their children (4 years and older) with them to the main service, believing that you’re never to young to start learning truth from God’s Word!

Main Worship Service

Our main worship service meets at 10:30 am in the church sanctuary. During the service, we strive to follow God’s guidelines and include worship through music, prayer and teaching. We encourage members to take this time to worship God in Spirit and in Truth, sing with a grateful heart to God, talk to Him in prayer, and take part in edification as a unified Body in Christ. We do offer hearing aids for those who request them during our main service.
